Latex Paint
In 2009 the San Luis Obispo County Integrated Waste Management Authority
(IWMA) implemented the "SLO Take Back Program" for latex paint. Currently every retailer throughout San Luis Obispo
County who sells latex paint will now take back unwanted or leftover
latex paint from the
public for free. Consumers who want to shop green
can now safely and easily recycle their latex paint.
The "SLO Take Back Program"
is brought to you by the San Luis Obispo County Integrated Waste
Management Authority (IWMA) and a grant from the State of California.
