Household Hazardous Waste
Be a responsible consumer.  If you buy products with toxins, or corrosives that are reactive or flammable, it is your responsibility to properly dispose of those items. 
Disposal Information
Household Hazardous Products used properly can be a benefit to society.  But when used in large quantities and misused or mishandled by consumers, can create problems.

Household Hazardous Waste Facilities are now OPEN!

Dispose of household toxic materials safely. Items that are toxic include:

Paint Products
Automotive Products
Household Cleaners
Hobby/Misc. (wood preservatives, glue)
Pool Chemicals
Yard Pesticides

Household Hazardous Waste collection facilities are now open. Items that are accepted include, but are not limited to, those listed above. No charge to San Luis Obispo County residents.
