City of San Luis Obispo Earth Week
The City’s Earth Week page is a good place to check for updated City-specific activities and info as April gets closer.

Party for the Planet (Central Coast Zoo, Atascadero) — Saturday, April 18, 2026
If you want an Earth Day activity geared toward kids/families, the Zoo’s event is usually a fun one with hands-on learning.

Greenspace Earth Day Celebration (Cambria) — Sunday, April 19, 2026 | 11 AM–3 PM
A North County option that’s very family-friendly, with activities and nature-focused programming.

Can’t make it to an event? A simple Earth Month goal is to do one “waste win” a week: check the Waste Wizard before tossing items, refresh your recycling setup at home, and consider composting food scraps to reduce what goes into the landfill.
