Residential Hazardous Waste Disposal

Residents of San Luis Obispo County may drop off up to 15 gallons or 125 pounds of hazardous waste per visit. Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and E-Waste are accepted at the following facilities for residential drop-off.

Appointments are not required for residents, but please make sure to keep in mind all holiday closure dates before bringing waste for disposal. Your Household Hazardous Waste and E-Waste will not be accepted during holiday closures.

Bring your driver's license or government-issued ID for hazardous waste drop-offs.

Local landfills manage their E-Waste facilities and can be contacted directly as needed.
